Steyr AUG

Steyr AUG Is a family of weapons that was introduced in 1977 by the Austrian firm Stier Mannlicher. The acronym AUG is Armee-Universal-Gewehr (Universal Rifle). The name is often used to describe the version of the assault rifle, with a green frame and an integrated telescopic sight.

Steyr AUG It is among the first rifles that entered in the Bullpup configuration.
Most versions come with telescopic sights at a magnification of 1.5X that can also be used as a carrying handle. This configuration allows the rifle to be short by approximately 25% other multiple with the same barrel length, without compromising ballistic performance. Other characteristics are that the rifle can be used with one hand, and that the gun uses transparent or semi-transparent cartridges to see how much ammunition remains.
